The Way Of Gods And Kings
On Lestallum, after reporting to Iris and Talcot about finding the sword behind the waterfall cave, Noctis and friends decide to take a look on the Disc of Cauthess with the telescope. Out of the odds, the mysterious purple hair guy was also there to scope the Disc of Cauthess. The mysterious purple hair guy explain to Noctis that the earthquakes and the premonition Noctis had was a calling for him to come and meet the Archean. He also then offering help to open up the gate that blocks the way to the Disc of Cauthess.
Onward to the Disc
Noctis and friends decide to tag along with the mysterious purple hair guy to the Disc of Cauthess. Arrives at the gate, the mysterious purple hair guy commands the Niflheim troops to open the gate. Shocked by how the mysterious purple hair guy able to just command the Niflheim troops that easily, Noctis ask the mysterious purple hair guy who he is. The mysterious purple hair guy then introduce himself as Ardyn Izunia, the chancellor to Niflheim empire. While passing the gate to the Disc of Cauthess and questioning why the chancellor to opposed kingdom helps them, Ardyn says farewell to Noctis and friends.
The Archean
On the edge of the cliif leading to the Disc of Cauthess, Noctis get his third royal arm, the Sword of Wise. Suddenly the Archean Titan wakes up in front of Noctis and friends. Apparently underneath the Disc of Cauthess there is the Titan that holds off the meteor from falling to the ground. The Titan seems desperately trying to say something to Noctis but because Noctis is not an oracle, he couldn’t understand what Titan wants which lead Noctis and friends battle the Titan to overcome the situation.
The Trial of Titan
Apparently, the empire decide to bring down the Archean before Noctis able to claim its blessings. It is a race with time who will delivered the final blow to the Archean. If it is Noctis, he will received the blessings. If it is the imperial army, then the Archean is gone forever. In the end, Noctis and friends able to settle down the Titan and receives the Mark of Archean as a proof that Titan now acknowledge Noctis and willing to help him get stronger.
Editor’s Note
This is the chapter where we are introduced to Ardyn the first time. My only change is not having the Regalia stolen by the empire for unknown reason and parked at random Niflheim base for another unknown reason. I found it pretty weird for Niflheim to have the Regalia in their possesion and do nothing with it. If they don't know what to with it why they took it at the first place, might as well just destroy it for good and give zero chance for Noctis to have it back.
The other change would be Ardyn's introduction, on my version, Ardyn directly introduce himself after having the gate to Disc of Cauthess open. And Noctis and friends never got any help of getting out of the Disc of Cauthess from Ardyn because it was clear that they are enemies.
