The Open World
-Cutscene of the Niflheim high ranks in discussion. Emperor finds out that prince Noctis is not death and the ring of lucii is in Luna possession. Verstael then explain that Lunafreya have a potential to be used for powers as she can communicate with the Power of Six Astrals. Also as a potential risk if her power use by Noctis. The Emperor order to capture her as soon as possible with the help of her brother Ravus who is on Niflheim side. But Ravus said to put more focus on killing the prince Noctis rather than thinking about Lunafreya power. Ravus then also introduce Aranea as mercenary hired to help him kill prince Noctis -
Burdern Of Expectation
As Cor mention earlier, Iris and other survivors currently reside at Lestallum. Noctis and friends wants to pay them a visit. On the road to Lestallum, some earthquake occurs and Noctis will have a premonition, a calling from the Archean Astral (Titan) but since Noctis is not an Oracle, he didn’t understand the meaning of it.
Upon reaching Lestallum, Noctis and friends meet with Iris along with new friends, Jared and Talcot. Iris inform that there are a lot of sightings that Lady Lunafreya was there at Imsomnia during the attack but also manage to escape along with other survivors. Rumors said that Lady Lunafreya is on the road to Altisia with the help from locals.
Jared and little Talcott will tell you about a legend of a sword hiding behind a waterfall in the region. It may be one of the royal tombs - so it’s worth checking out.
The Sword In The Waterfall
Upon reaching Greyshire Glacial Grotto, behind the waterfall, Noctis and friends did really find a cave leading to a royal tomb. Here Noctis will collect the third armiger The Sword of Wanderer.
Going back outside the cave, Noctis experience another premonition, a calling from the Titan, with the visual of the Disc of Cauthess (the meteor). Noctis and friends decide to take a visit to the Disc of Cauthess to investigate further but after coming back to Lestallum to report to Iris and Talcot about the findings.
Editor’s Note
This chapter is the start of the first open-world part of the game. You can litterally explore every part of the world if you want to. We get to meet with Iris Amicitia, Jared and Talcott for the first time here. My change here is to takeout the whole dating scene between Noctis and Iris because it is absurd, irrelevant and undermining Lunafreya role even more. Someway I feel that developer forgot that the main story of this game is about Noctis journey with his friends to go to his wedding with Lunafreya. If there is a romantic scene in this game it should be between Noctis and Lunafreya.

Nothing else changes within this chapter... Just a remark to what the game director, Hajime Tabata, said about a lot of stories happen off-screen in Final Fantasy 15 game is because the game only tell the stories happening through Noctis's eyes. And I think somehow Noctis's eyes could fly away from his body to witness the bad-guy convention somewhere in Niflheim base :D
