In the Dark

ARDYN II - Final Fantasy 15 OST - Yoko Shimomura
00:00 / 00:00

On the way to Tenebrae, something mysterious happen. Ardyn suddenly showing up in front Noctis eyes and everyone doesn’t seem to move. The scene feels like a dream, a hallucination created by Ardyn to confuse Noctis and cloud his judgement. Noctis pursue Ardyn wherever Ardyn runs until the train suddenly stop and knock Noctis unconscious. Waking up, Noctis found Prompto by his side, asking Ardyn whereabout. Prompto inform that Gladiolus and Ignis are on their way checking the engine, trying to make the train move. Because a moment later, the train is being surrounded by imperial troops. Noctis and Prompto have to protect the passengers aboard the train at all cost. After a while, apparently Gladiolus and Ignis have succeed to make the train moving again. So, Prompto and Noctis quickly gets into the train while wrecking some magitek troopers. On the train, Noctis decide to split up with Prompto. Noctis will handle the imperial airships while Prompto check on the safety of the passengers.

After a series of destroying imperial airship, Noctis drop on top the train moving inside a tunnel. Inside the tunnel, more enemies approaching but this time they are demons. Preventing the demons coming into the train, Noctis decide to take them all out on the roof while making way to the front cart. Upon reaching almost at the front cart, more demons approaching in a way that Noctis couldn’t handle by himself. Out of the sudden, Leviathan show up to banish all the demons lingering outside the train cart.

After a moment later, Noctis reunite with his friends at the front cart. A moment later, they witness some fire coming out from Tenebrae castle…

Editor’s Note

In this chapter, I took out the part where Ardyn disguise as Prompto that led to Prompto falling down from the train. I think the scene was weird, Somehow I feel that every part of the game where either Gladio, Ignis or Prompto left from the party feel so forced and ackward. They left so the developer could fit in the DLC stories that require players to pay. But in my opinion, forcing to have major events in the main story to be a Downloadable Content in the future made a confusing, blunder and incomplete playing experience.

At this moment I write down these revised stories of the game, Episode Prompto haven't released yet so I have no idea what is gonna be. But still, my playing experience blown out because the of those episodes that should not be a DLC, but should intact within the main game from the very start to make the story telling even better.
